Job Description Reporting Relationships: Program Director reports to the Program Coordinator. Teaches and assists the individual with household tasks such as laundry and cleaning and assists the individual to learn about meal planning and shopping, and safe food preparation.Ensures that all necessary food and other household items are in ample supply and are stored properly and ensure that an individual’s diet is followed, and food and drink are served according to their prescribed dietBe sure the facility remains clean and sanitary. Make report concerns observed for physical plant of the facility, including but not limited to fire extinguisher/fire safety/smoke alarm checks, seasonal equipment checks (air conditioners, boilers, screens etc.), broken furniture, hazards, cleanliness; and noting any needed materials or items.Follow the Staff Assignments and Programs Structured SchedulesTransports individuals as necessary to programs, activities, appointments, recreational functions, etc. as scheduled or requested by supervisors. Drive program vehicles in safe and responsible manner and document all vehicle operations in travel logs.Ensure adequate supervision and that all safeguards and plans are followed; in addition to monitor the interaction, activities and response to services.
