Job DescriptionConstruction Accountant Hauppauge, NY Our client, a highly successful construction company, is looking to hire a Construction Accountant. Qualified candidates will have completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and have three or more years of project accounting experience, preferably out of a construction company. You will work closely with the CFO as well as Project Managers across multiple sites around the region. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company that will give you excellent exposure across the organization and the potential for growth. This is an in-office role, full-time, offering a salary of $90,000 to $110,000 dependent on prior experience plus a solid benefits package. Responsibilities for the Project Accountant job include: · Responsible for the accounting and reporting of multiple projects simultaneously · Track financials, report on variances, trends and produce percentage of completion reports · Work closely with project managers and clients on financial status · Liaise with vendors and sub-vendors for billing purposes (AIA) · Evaluate and improve procedures for efficiency Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred · Three or more years of construction accounting experience · Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel required · Experience with Sage software is highly preferred · Self-motivated, driven personality If you would like to be considered for or any other position posted by LHH, please email your resume to Erik.Hansen@ lhh.com or you can visit our web site at .
