The PSR I performs high-quality phlebotomy and specimen collection while maintaining professionalism, compassion, and accuracy. This role is ideal for candidates with strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.Key Responsibilities, • Perform daily specimen collection and processing activities accurately and on time under the supervision of the area supervisor., • Maintain a safe, professional, and organized work environment., • Execute forensic and clinical specimen collection in accordance with established procedures., • Demonstrate strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections., • Maintain accurate records and required documentation., • Promote a positive and professional image with patients, clients, and colleagues., • Exhibit leadership behaviors, process excellence, and strict adherence to confidentiality standards., • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.Required Experience, • High school diploma or equivalent required., • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred., • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA)., • Minimum 6 months of experience; 1+ year phlebotomy experience preferred., • Customer service experience in retail or healthcare setting preferred., • Keyboard/data entry proficiency required., • Experience with straight needle draws and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) strongly preferred.Required Skills, • Phlebotomy & Specimen Collection, • Data Entry & Recordkeeping, • Patient Communication & Customer ServicePreferred Skills, • Pediatric and Geriatric Phlebotomy, • Clinical Data Accuracy & Compliance, • EMR System Familiarity, • Time Management & FlexibilityAdditional Skills, • Forensic and clinical specimen collection, • Process excellence and confidentiality awareness, • Independent work with minimal supervisionBenefits, • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans We are a Native American-owned, economically disadvantaged corporation that highly values diverse and inclusive workplaces.
