Job DescriptionRegistered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac ICU Location: Elmhurst, NY Assignment Length: 14 Weeks Shift: Day/Night Rotation Hours: 12.5-hour shifts Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Pay Rate: $60–$68/hour Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role is ideal for a critical care nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and is experienced in managing complex cardiac patients. Key Responsibilities * Provide direct nursing care to critically ill cardiac ICU patients * Monitor patient conditions closely and respond promptly to changes * Perform and manage IV insertions and phlebotomy * Administer and monitor conscious sedation safely * Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams * Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with hospital policies * Ensure adherence to patient safety and quality care standards Required Experience & Skills * Minimum 2 years of critical care (ICU) experience * Strong proficiency in: * IV insertion * Phlebotomy * Conscious sedation * Ability to work effectively in high-acuity cardiac care settings Education & Certifications * Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification required) * AHA BLS – Required * AHA ACLS – Required * Demonstrated hands-on experience with IV insertion and phlebotomy For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-806-4227.
