Job Opening: Lead Toddler Teacher (Certified) Port Washington Children’s Center – Preschool Program The Port Washington Children’s Center is seeking a warm, energetic, and dedicated Certified Lead Toddler Teacher to join our Preschool Program. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating a nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment for our youngest learners. Position: Lead Toddler Teacher Status: Full-Time Start Date: As Soon As Possible Responsibilities Include: • Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum for toddler-age children, • Creating a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment, • Leading classroom staff, modeling best practices, and ensuring smooth daily routines, • Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, • Maintaining ongoing communication with families regarding child development and progress, • Ensuring compliance with NY State OCFS regulations and PWCC program policies, • Observing, documenting, and assessing children’s growth and milestones, • Infant toddler CDA, • Experience working with toddlers in a licensed early childhood setting, • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices, • Ability to lead a team with professionalism, collaboration, and positivity, • Excellent communication and organizational skills, • Competitive salary based on experience and credentials, • Paid time off and holidays, • Professional development opportunities Interested candidates should send their resume, cover letter, and copies of certifications to: ????
