Job Summary: The Mix & Nut Production Supervisor is fully responsible for daily execution, material accuracy, labor efficiency, food safety compliance, and team performance across Mix Production and Nut Mix operations. This role owns output, accuracy, and discipline for both dry mix and nut mix production. The Supervisor ensures production meets schedule, quality, safety, and cost targets every day. This is a floor-based leadership role requiring constant presence, decision-making, and accountability. Performance is measured by results, not effort. Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Development • Lead, coach, and hold Mix and Nut Production Leads and Operators accountable., • Conduct regular 1:1s and team meetings to set expectations for safety, quality, and performance., • Enforce attendance, conduct, and performance standards., • Train employees across all mix and nut production positions and ensure cross-training coverage., • Address performance issues immediately to maintain a disciplined, high-performing team. Daily Production Execution • Lead daily startup and operation of mix and nut production lines., • Ensure production orders are reviewed, released, and completed accurately., • Monitor throughout, labor utilization, and efficiency; intervene when deviations occur., • Maintain clean, organized, GMP-compliant work areas., • Oversee nut mix operations, ensuring allergen and cross-contact controls are strictly followed. Material Planning & Accuracy • Plan daily raw material requirements and execute pick tickets., • Enforce FIFO and lot control 100% of the time., • Stage ingredients accurately and reconcile inventory at day’s end., • Ensure ERP consumption and output are entered accurately. Food Safety & Compliance • Enforce GMP, HACCP, SQF, and allergen control standards., • Verify metal detector, weight, and pallet checks., • Maintain lot and case code accuracy., • Ensure audit-ready conditions at all times. KPI Management & Continuous Improvement • Track daily KPIs: production output, labor efficiency, inventory accuracy, ERP accuracy, FIFO compliance, and audit scores., • Identify inefficiencies, waste, and bottlenecks., • Partner with Maintenance on equipment reliability., • Support trials, new products, and process improvements to increase throughput and reduce errors.
