Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company in Suffolk County to fill an Accounts Receivable Manager’s position. This position requires a proactive approach to managing accounts receivable functions while fostering a collaborative team environment. The Accounts Receivable Manager will be instrumental in driving the financial health of the organization through effective management of its receivables. This position is onsite Monday through Friday and can pay $75-$85K (open to temp to hire as well). Responsibilities: · Lead and supervise 2 accounts receivable specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. · Manage customer accounts, including payment processing, account reconciliation, and resolving discrepancies. · Conduct regular analysis of accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and develop strategies for collection. · Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes · Maintain accurate records of all transactions, ensuring adherence to SOX compliance and internal controls. · Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to billing and payment issues promptly. · Train staff on best practices in financial concepts, negotiation techniques, and data entry accuracy. Skills: · High level of professionalism, energy and positive attitude · Proficient in accounting software · Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis and reconciliation efficiently. · Strong negotiation skills for effective communication with clients regarding outstanding payments. · Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail in data entry and bookkeeping functions. · Familiarity with revenue cycle management processes within corporate accounting environments. · Strong math skills complemented by effective phone etiquette for customer interactions.
