Job Description The Mental Health Association is seeking Per Diem Peer Support Specialist for our new program, 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Team, operating out of Hudson county. The 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program will respond to adults (18 and above) in nonlife-threatening situations who have contacted the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program (MCORT) responds 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year, to nonlife-threatening mental health, substance use or suicidal crises in the community. MCORT will work in coordination with the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline crisis centers. (The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline was formerly the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.) MCORT is to be comprised of a two-person team in the field under remote supervision by a third professional from a centralized location. Shifts are on an as-needed basis for this position. The Event Technology Manager is responsible for assisting clients in navigating registration websites, supporting the integration of new technology platforms, and managing data, while collaborating closely with the event delivery team. This role involves assisting the events team with the implementation and ongoing support of new technology platforms, as well as leveraging advanced Microsoft Excel skills to manage event information and generate detailed reports. Job Description Client Advocate Specialist - Hotlines Remote - Candidate needs to live in Tri- State Area of NY Summary: The Hotlines’ Client Advocate Specialist fields calls to Safe Horizon’s three 24-hour Hotlines: the Domestic Violence Hotline, the Crime Victims Hotline and the Rape and Incest Hotline. These hotlines provide crisis intervention, advocacy, and information and referrals to over 125,000 victims each year. The Client Advocate Specialist conducts thorough safety and needs assessments, and collaborates with callers to develop plans address needs within a supportive, client-centered framework.
