Job Description In the role of a Radiology Technologist II at Sollis Health, you will be responsible for the operation of our CT and X-ray equipment, performing diagnostics and ensuring that proper information has been obtained. You will also be trained and certified on how to run lab testing in a CLIA laboratory. Full Time - 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am, Saturday and Sunday, also 7am-7pm Mondays - 36 hours/week Responsibilities • Receive and review the physician's request for radiographic procedures and identify the patient prior to conducting scans, • Perform Diagnostic Imaging - Cat Scan, X-Ray and/or Magnetic Resonance Imaging on a variety of body parts utilizing the appropriate equipment and established standards and procedures, • Operate computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation of images, • Ensuring images are legibly labeled with correct date and patient identification, • Monitoring the patient's well being and recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action, • Running laboratory tests on our moderate to complex machines under a CLIA license, and helps to perform routine QC's and other lab requirements, • Utilizing our EMR Athena Health to enter detailed information about the patients ensuring all information is HIPPA compliant, • Updating patient information in our CRM Salesforce, • Performs clerical duties as requested, • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program required, • Current License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist (General Radiographer) in New York State, • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Radiography and CT required within 12 months of hire, • Must have at least 1 year of previous experience in both modalities: X-Ray and CT To be successful in this role, candidates will demonstrate the following: • Have outstanding customer service skills and a high level of professionalism, • Tech-forward and process oriented, with a goal of making patient care more efficient, • Comfortable interfacing with high profile clientele, • Enjoy a diverse and fast paced work environment, • Be a team player, • Be self-motivated, pay keen attention to detail and have solid organization/time management skills, • Treat highly confidential information with care and discretion, • Have the ability to develop rapport in all relationships, • Be flexible, tactful and patient, especially under pressure This is the range of pay for New York City candidates only. Job Description Job Responsibilities: • Under direct supervision of the physician, prepares patients, assembles and operates hemodynamic and electrophysiologic equipment during interventional and diagnostic procedures, • Comforts patients by welcoming them to the cardiology suite, answering their questions, and responding to requests., • Completes electro-cardiograms (EKGs or ECGs) by attaching electrodes to the patient’s chest, arms, and legs, • Completes treadmill stress tests by connecting patients to EKG monitors, • Completes non-invasive peripheral vascular tests by collecting ultrasound echoes to form a screen image of the heart function, blood flow, and circulation., • Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following asepsis standards, • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations., • Registers patients by entering anticipated service data into the patient record, verifying medical history., • Comforts patients by welcoming them to the cardiology suite, answering their questions, and responding to requests., • Supports physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular ailments with the use of a catheter., • Assists physician in performing invasive procedures. Performs related radiographic/fluoroscopic imaging techniques to demonstrate catheter location, position and document findings, • Maintains a well- stocked and clean work environment, • Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the US., • Works well in teams, • Can maintain composure during stress, • Good bedside manner, • Comfortable presenting technical Data Education: • High School Diploma or Equivalent, • At least 2 years of work experience preferred., • Active cardiovascular technologist license in NJ, • Diploma in Cardiovascular Technology from a University, Bachelor’s degree in cardiovascular technology or an undergraduate certificate in cardiovascular technology.
