This role requires strong technical skills, attention to patient safety, and the ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high imaging quality standards. Responsibilities * Perform MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols and safety standards * Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper screening prior to MRI procedures * Operate MRI equipment and associated imaging systems efficiently * Accurately document procedures and patient information within the electronic medical record * Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals * Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and infection control guidelines Required Qualifications * Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in an acute care or hospital setting * Associate’s Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program * Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License * ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification * Ability to work night shifts, alternating weekends, and holidays * Willingness to attend two weeks of onsite training (daytime hours, including EMR training) * In-person interview required Preferred Qualifications * BLS certification (AHA preferred) * Previous experience in a hospital-based radiology department.
