Job Title: X-Ray Technologist (2–5 Years Experience) – Contract Requisition #: 36387425 Location: New York, NY 10024 Job Type: Contract (Staffing – Supplier Sourced) Schedule: Total Hours/Week: 37.5 Shift Schedule (subject to rotation based on facility needs): • Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, • Monday & Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 8:30 PM, • Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM Saturday: 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM ANY 37.5 HRS PR WEEK Job Summary: The X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images as requested by physicians. This role involves direct patient interaction, technical precision, and adherence to all safety and infection control protocols. The technologist will work closely with a collaborative clinical team to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care. Key Responsibilities: • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiologic equipment in accordance with physician orders., • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly., • Apply proper radiation protection measures to ensure patient and staff safety., • Monitor and maintain image quality and equipment performance., • Chart and document imaging procedures and patient interactions accurately., • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs/maintenance as needed., • Maintain inventory of radiology supplies and ensure cleanliness and compliance of the work area., • Comply with all applicable regulations and infection control protocols., • Support the department in meeting productivity, safety, and quality standards., • Participate in ongoing professional development and complete required annual competencies.Qualifications:, • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist., • Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology., • Licenses/Certifications:, • New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.)
