Job Description PARK AVENUE ARMORY Part American palace, part industrial shed, Park Avenue Armory is dedicated to supporting unconventional works in the visual and performing arts that need non-traditional spaces for their full realization, enabling artists to create, students to explore, and audiences to experience epic and adventurous presentations that cannot be mounted elsewhere in New York City. THE POSITION The Director of Institutional Giving is responsible for the Armory’s foundation, government, and corporate fundraising, which accounts for over $2.3 million annually in general operating support and significant restricted support for artistic productions, new initiatives, and Arts Education program. Primary responsibilities include managing a high-volume portfolio of institutional funders; leading the writing, editing, and submission of proposals and reports; overseeing funder crediting; and cultivating and maintaining relationships with key contacts. The Director of Institutional Giving reports to the Director of Development and takes direction from the Chief Development Officer and the Founding President and Executive Producer. The Director supervises the Manager of Institutional Giving and works collaboratively within a larger Development team of 11 staff. Due to the nature of this role and interaction with staff across the organization, this is a fully on-site role. Some evening and weekend work is required. RESPONSIBILITIES • Grant and Partnership Management, • Lead and execute all aspects of institutional fundraising, including foundation grants, corporate partnerships, and government funding. Oversee strategy, proposals, budgets, reporting, renewals, and benefit fulfillment, ensuring timely submission and accurate tracking of funding cycles, deadlines, and key funder communications, including ticketing, events, and membership-related benefits., • Own and maintain a comprehensive institutional funding calendar, ensuring zero missed deadlines across all foundation, corporate, and government submissions., • Proactively identify and develop new institutional funding opportunities to support the Armory’s goals and growth, including conceiving, structuring, and securing new partnerships for production funding, event sponsorship, in-kind support, and general operations., • Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of foundation, corporate, and government funders to keep them engaged and informed, including maintaining and updating records about conversations and meetings, monitoring participation in events and programs, tracking staffing rotations and changes, and supporting executive-level contact and cultivation., • Development, • Oversee management of funder crediting for all categories of donors, including coordinating the approval process, maintaining the master crediting grid, and working with the Marketing team to ensure appropriate sponsor/funder visibility in all Armory materials., • Oversee the coordination of Arts Education fundraising activities, including drafting donor communications and invitations across all areas; partner with the Education team to convene quarterly meetings with Development; and maintain an up-to-date understanding of program schedules and activities., • Support larger Development and institutional efforts with vetted language and presentations for specific solicitations, reports, and other purposes as needed., • Represent the Development team at events and in donor interactions with energy, warmth, and strong interpersonal skills., • Serve as the central point person in Development for information on upcoming artistic projects, education initiatives, and public programming; partner across artistic, production, education, finance, and marketing teams to gather information, shape proposals, and ensure alignment with institutional priorities., • Ensure high-quality stewardship and acknowledgment of corporate and foundation funders, including drafting tailored thank-you and follow-up communications in multiple voices, while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and strong relationships., • Administration and Management, • Lead and manage the Manager of Institutional Giving, setting clear priorities, establishing workflows, and ensuring consistently high-quality output., • Prepare senior leadership for funder engagement, including developing briefing materials, talking points, and strategic recommendations., • Manage development and institutional files, records, and documents on the server and within Tessitura for working, reference, and archival purposes., • Partner with the Director of Development and Chief Development Officer to build and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships within the development department and with other departments., • Perform other responsibilities as needed and assigned. Reporting to a Justice Program Director, the attorney will help us build a research and policy agenda to achieve smarter policing and sentencing policies, more humane prison conditions, and supportive reentry programs. The Counsel will help the justice team build out state advocacy to improve the justice system, with a focus on prison reform, and in assisting the Program in researching and drafting reports, briefs, and other public facing work. Responsibilities: • Provide assessment and treatment services which include individual, family and group counseling on a minimum average of five clinical visits per working day, and other support services to patients with substance abuse and mental health issue, • Perform assessment for substance use disorder, mental health illness and impaired driving disorder, history of hospitalization, medication, trauma or domestic violence abuse, • Administrative assessment tool including Mini-Mental State (MMSE), CAGE RIASI, PHQ 9, CAD-7 and Suicide Risk Assessment Form, • Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessment for patient, • Apply various counseling therapy approach such as MI and CBT to help patient recover from their disorders, • Complete and keep up-to-date accurate clinical records such as comprehensive evaluation, treatment plan, progress notes and reports regarding the patients’ histories and progress, services provided, and other required information, • Provide patients or family members with information about addiction with mental health issues and about available services and programs, making appropriate referrals when necessary, • Coordinate counseling efforts with mental health professionals, other health professionals and justice criminal system entity such as psychiatrist, Medical doctors, nurses, Judge, probation parole officer, attorney and social workers, • Conduct in-reach and offsite treatment services as needed, • Participate in outreach activities as directed by Program Director or AED of Behavioral Health, • Other related duties as may be required to support clinic operation, • Maintain medical records documentation according to HMH and OASAS policies and procedures, • Meet productivity and quality assurance goals as set forth by agency, • Master's degree and a minimum of one year of job-related experience, with LMHC or LMHC Limited Permit, LMSW and/or a CASAC or CASAC-T preferred, • Experience in substance abuse and mental health treatment services preferred, • Bilingual in English/Chinese (Cantonese) preferred Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week Excellent benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 15 vacation days, 12 sick days, 3 personal days, and 12 paid agency-wide holidays per annum Hamilton-Madison House is an Equal Opportunity Employer

Position Overview We seek a results-driven, dynamic, and experienced fundraising professional to join our Development team. The Institutional Relations Officer is a crucial frontline fundraising role for the Brennan Center. You will join a high-performing Development team that has raised $50-60 million in the last several fiscal years. The team is organized around three principal revenue sources: institutional donors, major donors (individuals and family foundations), and small and midlevel donors. The team also organizes an annual fundraising gala. The Officer will be responsible for securing major grants from institutional foundations and philanthropies – both existing and new donors. We seek a well-rounded fundraiser proficient at managing and executing all aspects of securing prospects and retaining donors. A key feature of the role is to guide and collaborate with the Center’s leaders and staff, who are among the nation’s preeminent democracy and justice policy reformers. Key Responsibilities The Officer will serve a critical role in raising funding from institutional foundations, law firms, and corporate philanthropies. The full portfolio brings in over $10 million annually with ambitions to grow. It includes more than 45 active grants, around 70 percent of which are at the six or seven-figure level. To reach our revenue goals, the Officer will work closely with the Senior Director and Director of Institutional Relations to develop and implement strategies aimed at securing renewed or increased support from existing funders.
