Job DescriptionWe are seeking adjunct faculty to teach Media Communication courses. Example of Duties: • Teach assigned classes in accordance with the College's academic calendar and approved syllabi, • Meet all scheduled class sessions, • Maintain and report accurate student grade and attendance records using approved procedures and systems, • Participate in assessment activities in support of the PCCC institutional effectiveness program, • Utilize the appropriate technology, including the College's student learning platform, to fulfill teaching duties, • Master's degree in Communications or Media related degree required, • College Teaching experience in media and video production, • Teaching experience in beginning level history of media courses encompassing TV, Radio, Film, book, and newspaper publishing, digital media Compensation: The pay for this position is $962 per credit taught. We will provide comprehensive training in our specialized fabrication and installation techniques., • Travel and Install: Our crafted garden panels, brought to life in our Fairfield workshop, travel across the US. You will be part of the team that installs these panels in various locations, transforming spaces into green sanctuaries., • Active and Engaged Work: This role requires you to be on your feet and hands-on.
