Key Accounts Outside Sales Manager – Manhattan / NYC Location: Manhattan + Greater NYC Area Job Type: Full-Time (W2 or 1099) Compensation: $50,000–$60,000 base + commission + revenue share OTE: $90,000–$140,000+ Expected Average OTE: $110,000+ Start Date: ASAP – Monday, April 6th, 2026 (Latest Start Date) AMPTRA CHARGING is hiring a Key Accounts Outside Sales Manager to drive strategic venue acquisition across Manhattan and key NYC growth areas. This is a full-cycle, field-based sales role focused on prospecting, pitching, closing, and managing high-fit key accounts. We are looking for an experienced closer with real outside sales experience who can operate independently, prioritize strong opportunities, and help grow AMPTRA aggressively. About AMPTRA CHARGING AMPTRA CHARGING is a fast-growing portable charger rental network in the U.S. With the market life cycle being early and strong market demand, we are implementing an aggressive market development strategy to capture and develop the NYC and US market, making AMPTRA CHARGING a great opportunity for quick and aggressive career growth. At AMPTRA CHARGING, we install self-serve charging stations in high-traffic venues such as bars, nightclubs, live music venues, hotel lobbies, transportation hubs, tourist destinations, shopping centers, campuses and so on. AMPTRA’s charging stations are self-serve. Guests rent a portable charger, use it anywhere, and return it to any AMPTRA station within the network. Venues pay $0 to host AMPTRA stations. No maintenance. No staff involvement. Simply plug in and earn revenue share on every rental. Think: • ATM machines (cash on demand), • Vending machines (snacks on demand), • Scooter rentals (transportation on demand), • AMPTRA CHARGING (Power & Portable Chargers on Demand) What This Role Focuses On This role is about quality over quantity. We are not looking for someone to stack low-value small accounts. We want someone who can go after high-fit, high-traffic, strategic venues in the right target zones. Target account categories include: • Nightlife and hospitality: major nightclubs, rooftop bars, dense late-night bar corridors, live music venues, hotel lobby bars, • Tourist and transit anchors: Times Square, Empire State Building area, major museums, Grand Central, PATH, ferry terminals, and similar high-traffic hubs, • Retail and campus environments: department stores, shopping centers, food halls, university campuses, and destination public gathering venues Success in This Role Success is measured by the ability to close strong strategic accounts, not just easy low fit volume. Target outcomes include: • Closing 5+ strong strategic high fit venues per month, • Building pipeline in the Manhattan and Greater NYC target zones, • Maintaining strong relationships with active accounts What You’ll Do • Prospect and generate leads in the field (specific target criteria and specific leads will also be provided), • Prioritize high-value, high-fit opportunities within target zones, • Target venues that match AMPTRA’s ideal account profile, • Run the full sales cycle from lead generation to close, • Build relationships with owners, operators, and decision-makers, • Support onboarding and early launch follow-up, • Manage ongoing account relationships and monthly/quarterly touch points, • Coordinate with AMPTRA support when merchant issues arise, • Keep CRM, reporting, and KPI activity up to date, • Work directly with the CEO through daily start-of-day and end-of-day strategic meetings For more complex opportunities such as franchise-level deals, major shopping mall groups, or other complex and strategic accounts, you will have direct support from the CEO to help move the deal forward and get it closed. What We’re Looking For • At least 3+ years of outside sales / field sales experience, • Proven experience and ability in B2B sales, • Proven experience and ability in full cycle sales, • Proven experience and ability in closing deals independently, • Strong communication and in-person selling skills, • Track record of working independently and producing results in an outside sales environment, • Goal oriented, organized, self-motivated, and accountable, • Comfortable working directly with leadership in a flat organization structure, • Comfortable working in a result driven and fast-moving environment Strongly Preferred • Portable charger rental sales experience, • ATM, vending machine, kiosk, or POS sales, • Beverage, hospitality, nightlife, or venue-based field sales, • Experience selling into bars, nightclubs, hotels, tourist venues, campuses, or transportation-linked locations, • Existing assets within NYC hospitality or venue relationships Compensation • Base Salary: $50,000–$60,000, • Commission: $300–$700+ per high-fit venue deal closed, • Average Commission Expectation: Approximately $500 per high-fit venue (ICP) deal, • Revenue Share: 5%–10%+ on total net revenue generated, including rental, advertising revenue, and any additional streams of revenue generated by your book of accounts., • OTE: $90,000–$140,000+, • Expected Average OTE: $110,000+ while meeting KPI Why Join AMPTRA • Fast-growing company with strong product-market fit, • Massive demand; Very early market life cycle; Low competition, • Real earning upside with base, commission, and recurring revenue share, • Direct exposure to leadership and strategic deal support, • Opportunity to help build a territory with direct CEO access, • Strong growth opportunity as the company scales How to Apply Please apply here directly with your resume and answering the screening questions.
