Apply now to join our healthcare team in the heart of New York State! • Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1990 - $2130 per week, • Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment, • Location: Albany, NY 12208 (New York healthcare jobs), • Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU), • Start Date: December 7, 2025, • End Date: March 8, 2026, • Duration: 13-week contract, • Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), • Hours per Week: 36, • Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required, • EMR: Epic EMR experience required, • Weekend block schedule may be considered, • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State, • Minimum 1 year of recent PCU or adult ICU nursing experience, • ACLS certification required, • Proficiency in advanced hemodynamics, pressor titration, and medical/surgical patient care, • Experience with Epic electronic medical records (EMR), • Ability to pass a nursing competency test within 48 hours of submission, • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, trauma, and surgical complications, • Manage advanced therapies: antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, arterial lines, CVP, EVD, ortho traction, and infection prevention protocols, • Utilize HFNC, BiPap/CPAP, and oxypendent devices for respiratory support, • Maintain a patient load of approximately 3 high-acuity patients, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Planet Healthcare Job ID #430572.
