Duties • Perform X-ray examinations on patients as per physician requests, ensuring adherence to safety protocols., • Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including CT scans and PET scans, to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning., • Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results in compliance with medical standards., • Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss imaging findings and contribute to patient care decisions., • Ensure proper functioning of imaging equipment through routine maintenance and troubleshooting., • Educate patients about the imaging process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have., • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff., • Certification as an X-ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program., • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and diagnostic radiology principles., • Experience with various imaging modalities such as CT, PET scans, and nuclear medicine is preferred., • Familiarity with emergency medicine and urgent care settings is advantageous., • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members., • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
