Job Description Speech Therapy Plus LLC is looking for energetic and motivated speech therapists to join our dynamic team in Bergen County, NJ. Offices are located in Fair Lawn, Ramsey and Paramus. We are a growing private practice offering evaluation and treatment to toddlers, school-aged children and adolescents. The SLP will be expected to provide skilled intervention and parent training, while allowing for creativity and flexibility within the sessions. Speech Therapy Plus LLC focuses on building relationships with families to help children succeed across different environments. Pediatric experience is required. This is a Full-time position. Candidate must be available weekdays late afternoons/evenings. We also have Part Time opportunities with a minimum of 5 hours per week. (typically late afternoon/evening hours). Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat clients with a variety of communication disorders Develop treatment plans, determining long and short-term goals, and methods to achieve success for clients with a variety of communication disorders Complete daily treatment notes, maintain or records (e.g. progress reports, plan of care etc.). Collaborate with a variety of groups and/or individuals (e.g. parents, teachers, physicians, administration, other professionals, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information, resolving issues and providing services in compliance with established guidelines. The Speech-Language Specialist will play a critical role in the Child Study Team (CST) process by conducting evaluations, composing professional reports, and collaborating with educators and school administrators to support individualized student learning and development. Evaluation Services Requirements: * Ability to administer evaluations for students across multiple grade and developmental levels. * Proficiency with a variety of standardized assessments used in diagnosing speech-language disorders. * Demonstrated experience writing clear, comprehensive, and professional reports. * Commitment to delivering written reports within a two-week turnaround time. Scope of Work: Activities: * Conduct Speech-Language evaluations on a per-case basis as part of the CST evaluation process. * Assess, identify, or rule out speech-language communication disabilities. * Provide written reports with actionable recommendations for educational programming.
