Job Title: X-Ray Tech Pay Rate: $43-45/hour depending on specialty and experience Job Type: Per diem Job Title Duties (not limited to): • Ensure appropriate supplies and equipment are ready and available for scheduled procedures., • Ensure equipment is in proper working condition prior to imaging being performed., • Position/reposition equipment throughout procedures and process fluoroscopy images., • Daily C-arm cleaning/general maintenance., • Maintain QA for Radiology Department: daily warm-up and inspection, phantom images, and quarterly QA testing/logs., • Review/distribute/collect radiation monitoring devices of all OR personnel monthly., • Review radiation monitoring reports and distribute monthly to personnel and Administrator., • Investigate any radiation exposures that are out of limits for monthly, quarterly, or yearly time periods., • Perform standard x-ray imaging as ordered in-house by providers., • Other radiology-related tasks may be assigned. Minimum Level of Education or Experience Required: • Bachelor's or Associate degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or a related field., • Appropriate state licensure., • Proven experience working as an X-ray technician., • Working knowledge of radiographic equipment., • Ability to move or lift patients., • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills., • Effective written and verbal communication skills., • Ability to navigate health EHR systems., • Familiarity with medical terminology.

Position Summary: As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a vital role as an assistant to our physicians. You will be cross trained to perform a range of administrative and clinical duties. These duties include preparing the patient to see the physician, preparing examination rooms, performing basic and routine vision screening examinations, administering eye medications, cleaning, and maintaining ophthalmic instruments and assisting physicians during minor surgical and laser procedures. Job Duties & Essential Functions: Patient Interaction & Clinical Intake • Greet and communicate with patients and their families in a manner consistent with caring and respect., • Initiate patient evaluations by accurately documenting the chief complaint, history of present illness, review of systems, and all pertinent information., • Perform pre-exam testing, including visual acuity assessment (with pinhole and glare testing), confrontational visual fields, extraocular muscle testing, pupillary evaluation, tonometry, angle assessment, and dilation., • Conduct advanced diagnostic testing such as OCT, fundus photography, IOL Master, Pentacam, A-scan, B-scan, Wave Scan/Vario, keratometry, lensometry, and visual field testing., • Assist with in-office minor surgical procedures and laser treatments., • Complete prescription refill requests as authorized by the physician, ensuring proper documentation in the patient chart., • Track, document, and communicate laboratory results to physicians and patients promptly, ensuring accuracy and continuity of care., • Educate patients on the use of medications and provide pre- and post-operative instructions as directed by the physician., • Maintain and manage inventory of ophthalmic supplies, pharmaceuticals, and instruments., • Inspect and assist with the maintenance of clinical examination equipment, report damage, coordinate repairs, and request replacements as necessary., • Assist with cleaning surgical instruments in preparation for sterilization., • Properly shut down and clean diagnostic testing equipment as needed., • Open and close exam rooms daily, including cleaning equipment, charging devices, and securing instruments., • Assist with opening and closing the clinic as needed., • Follow all safety protocols and clinic procedures., • Monitor and respond to work emails; utilize shared tools such as Google Drive to stay informed throughout the workday., • Participate in training and educational opportunities, including webinars and in-service sessions, to remain current with best practices., • Perform additional duties as assigned or directed by the supervisor. It is lightweight and easy to wear, allowing patients to return to their common activities of daily living, while having the peace of mind that they are protected from SCA. This is the perfect opportunity for the health professional with patient care and teaching experience to supplement his or her income. A typical LifeVest® patient is in the hospital awaiting discharge, and the Patient Service Representative sets up the equipment and trains the patient and caregivers on the use and care of the device. They also follow up with patients as needed to assure patient understanding and satisfaction. PSRs retain the flexibility to accept or decline assignments as their schedules dictate. Most assignments can be scheduled during free time – before/after work, and on days off.
