Job Description Lead CNC Milling Programmer–Machinist Location: Bayville, NJ • Manufacturing Dept. About Greener Corp. A Day in This Role You’ll arrive at a spotless, well-organized workstation, review prints, and determine the smartest way to make each part. You’ll program CNC mills from scratch, set up the jobs, run first articles, and refine feeds, speeds, and tool paths until the results are dead‑on. Throughout the day, you’ll keep machines cutting, troubleshoot issues in real time, and collaborate with peers to hit schedule targets while holding ultra‑tight tolerances. What You’ll Do • Independently program and set up CNC milling machines to produce parts that meet all design and manufacturing specs in a fast-paced shop., • Interpret prints to devise optimal manufacturing methods and workflows for standard parts., • Own end‑to‑end job execution: setup, first‑piece verification, and production., • Troubleshoot tooling, code, and machine issues and implement corrective actions., • Select tooling and define cutting sequences, tool paths, speeds/feeds, and chip loads to maximize throughput while maintaining extremely close tolerances., • Drive uptime: maintain the production schedule and recommend process improvements for efficiency., • Load, unload, and deburr parts to sustain quality and flow., • Keep your area, equipment, tools, and apparel clean and safe at all times., • Perform preventive maintenance, including checking coolant and oil, removing chips/waste, and completing monthly tasks directed by Maintenance. What You’ll Bring, • 5+ years setting up and operating milling machinery., • Solid math foundation including geometry., • Strong mechanical aptitude with proven problem‑solving and sound decision‑making., • Proficiency with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints., • Comfort standing for extended periods and performing tasks requiring stooping, bending, and stretching., • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., • Willingness to work overtime as needed., • Clear communication and effective teamwork with peers and leadership.
