Job Summary Hanover Bank is looking for a full-time Quality Control Analyst I to join our team. The Quality Control Analyst I is responsible for reviewing all closed loan documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, regulatory compliance, and data integrity. This role verifies that all legal documents received from bank attorneys are properly included, reviews all borrower disclosures for accuracy and fee tolerances, and confirms compliance with all applicable disclosure requirements throughout the loan process. The Quality Control Analyst I plays a vital role in maintaining operational quality and supporting the overall loan closing workflow. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities • Ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations, internal policies, procedures, and industry standards., • Upload, review, and organize closing documents received from bank attorneys, placing them into the appropriate loan folders., • Review disclosures, commitments, and estimates prior to borrower delivery to ensure accuracy., • Review closing documentation before sending it to borrowers for final closing., • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) checks on all loan files once they reach final approval., • Box, label, and document all legal folders for storage or audit purposes., • Submit loans requiring management approval to the appropriate leadership team., • Update and maintain spreadsheets or tracking logs related to closings and receipt of documents from attorneys., • Assist with rate lock processes for applicable loan products., • Participate in special projects or tasks as assigned by Operations Managers., • College degree preferred, but not required, • 1-3 years of banking experience, • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, • Experience using loan origination systems or similar operational software., • Working knowledge of mortgage disclosure requirements, guidelines, and timelines. Skills and Abilities • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills., • Excellent organizational abilities, including time management, multitasking, and meeting strict deadlines., • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and resolve documentation or compliance issues., • Adaptable team player eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, evolving environment., • Willing to work weekends or overtime as needed.
