Job Description RiseWell Community Services is seeking a Full-time Peer Specialist to join the Young Adult Assertive Community Team in West Babylon, NY As a certified Peer Specialist, you will provide direct services and peer support with a focus on recovery on a mobile, community based, multi-disciplinary treatment team for young adults (ages 18-28) with severe and persistent mental illness The world does not run out of people to help…and we need people like YOU to help us make a positive change in the community! QUALIFICATIONS: Lived experience relevant to client population. Current NYS license as a Peer Specialist and/or Youth Peer Advocate. A valid and clean NY State driver license. Minimum 1 years of experience in a treatment or rehabilitation setting. Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health.
