General Description: Reporting to the Dean of Clinical Education/Assistant Dean of Clinical Education, the Faculty Clinician is responsible to supervise and work with clinical students to provide quality patient care and complete required documentation for both patient care and student education. General Responsibilities: The faculty consists of all individuals in the employ of Northeast holding academic rank and engaged in instructional, scholarly and professional, or academic service activities for the College. These activities include, but are not limited to: laboratory, classroom, online, and health center instruction; work of professional librarians; course and curriculum development; research; participation in student advising, enrollment management functions, College governance; and service to one’s profession. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: • Manage patient care within the approved policies and procedures of the Northeast health centers., • Develop and utilize relevant marketing to grow faculty practice expectations per the Faculty Handbook to support student learning., • Responsible for all patient health care decisions to include evaluation, management and recordkeeping., • Be a consultation resource for other faculty members., • Provide hands on mentoring and foster a critical thinking environment for student education., • Oversee student conduct, proficiency, professionalism and compliance with health center standards., • Oversee and issue quantitative and qualitative credits and provide feedback to students regularly., • Assist with clinical education activities (evaluations, orientation, remediations, OSCE, mentor meetings, etc.) as needed., • Engage students in a variety of clinical activities while ensuring appropriate continuity of patient care., • Participate in health center meetings as well as mandatory professional development activities., • Maintain clean and orderly patient treatment areas and report any equipment needing repair., • Participate on College committees and task forces as assigned., • Maintain active involvement with professional, national and state organizations important to clinical, educational, and administrative responsibilities., • Develop a professional development plan in conjunction with the Dean of Clinical Education/Assistant Dean of Clinical Education., • Other duties as assigned. Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision and direction of the program administrative supervisor, the Program Assistant/Biller provides administrative and clerical support to the program staff and functions as the liaison between agency departments and programs. The Program Assistant is responsible for managing client records, operating and coordinating the management information system, maintaining accounting and budget records for recipient and program expenditures and performing reception activities such as triaging calls and coordinating communication between the program and recipients. This work is carried out under varying conditions of direction and availability of guidelines and by the skilled use of various kinds of equipment, such as computers with a variety of software packages (e.g. CORE, Anasazi, Microsoft Office) and other automated systems. ESSENTIAL TASKS: • Responsible for overall office management: keeps the staff office area organized and operating efficiently, including all filing, keeping the office equipment in good working order, maintains a supply of all forms and updates bulletin boards in a timely manner., • Responsible for Purchase Order management: monitors the inventory of program and office supplies and prepares purchase orders as needed.
