POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Nursing Supervisor, the Nurse will be responsible for providing best practice nursing care to our clients. Our clients are a mix of infants, toddlers, school age children and teens and are male and female. Nurses will work with birth families, foster parents, and other members of each child’s treatment team. Day shifts Monday - Friday. 8a - 4pm REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in New York State, current CPR certification and completion of required courses in Child Abuse and Infection Control. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor, the Medical Assistant will assist the medical team in providing safe and knowledgeable medical assistance for youth in foster care and in residential settings. The Housing Specialist will help our clients secure and obtain a permanent place to live. The ideal candidate will have experience working with at risk youth and have a strong knowledge base of the following: NYCHA, Supportive Housing, Section 8, and other related programs.
