Job Summary Summary: Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service and dining room facilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weighs and measures designated ingredients., • Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards. Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment., • Stores foods in designated areas in accordance with wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures., • Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils., • Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements., • Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control., • Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service., • Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner., • Relays relevant information to supervisor., • Performs sales transactions., • Enters sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded., • Makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment., • Issues receipts to customers., • Follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds., • Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards., • Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness. This role involves tracking and managing inventory levels, conducting regular physical counts, and coordinating with various departments to ensure the availability of products and materials. The inventory Clerk plays a critical role in maintaining the efficiency of the supply chain and supporting overall operations. Key responsibilities: · Maintain accurate records of all inventory items, including quantities, locations, and condition. · Conduct regular physical inventory counts ad reconcile discrepancies with recorded data. · Update inventory databases and systems to reflect changes in stock levels. · Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that stock is available to meet demand without overstocking. · Coordinate with Purchasing, Production and other departments to ensure timely replenishment of inventory items. · Prepare ad generate inventory reports for management review. · Identify and report any issues related to inventory management, such as shortages, overstock, or damaged goods. · Assist with the organization and arrangement of stock in the warehouse or storage area. · Implement and follow inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency. · Support the implementation of inventory management systems and software. Required Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred. · Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or related role is preferred. · Strong attention to detail and organization skills. · Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft office suite. · Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving inventory items. · Strong communication and teamwork skills. · Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. · Knowledge of inventory control procedures and best practices. · Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds. · Ability to stand, walk and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
