Key Responsibilities: • Supervise the specification, installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems by managing external vendors and internal employees in conjunction with the Facilities Manager, • Conduct routine inspections to trouble shoot and proactively address potential issues, • Be familiar with the operation, programming and administration of common BMS systems and have the ability to interact with an external BMS supplier, • Have the ability to communicate to users and management any issues and timelines for repairs, • Maintain accurate records of all activities related to the systems, • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes, • Stay up to date on new technologies and industry standards Qualifications: • High School or equivalent with certifications in HVAC systems, • Understanding of control systems and the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints, • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, • Available for afterhours emergencies The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the personnel assigned to do this job.
