    A Line Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating menu items according to restaurant recipes and quality standards. They work as part of a kitchen team to ensure food is prepared efficiently, safely, and consistently during service hours. Key Responsibilities: Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, measuring, and mixing according to recipes. Cook and plate menu items while maintaining quality and presentation standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas. Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Monitor food inventory and notify management of low stock levels. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food products. Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely order completion. Assist with receiving and storing deliveries. Perform opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
