Job Description Senior Tax Accountant – High Net Worth / International Tax Location: Melville, NY (On-Site) Employment Type: Full-Time Base Salary Range: $105,000 – $125,000 + Bonus A prestigious growing boutique CPA firm in Melville, NY is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join its high-end tax practice. This on-site role offers significant client interaction and hands-on exposure to high-net-worth individuals, international tax, immigration planning, real estate, entrepreneurs, and founders—without the NYC commute. About the Firm We service a sophisticated client base including hedge funds, international family offices, entrepreneurs and founders, major real estate investors, and architectural and professional service firms. We focus strictly on complex tax matters and do not service small retail or local businesses. Our work includes advanced tax planning, transactional structuring, immigration and cross-border tax planning. Key Responsibilities • Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts, • Assist with advanced tax planning and transaction structuring, • Research U.S. and international tax issues including immigration-related tax planning, • Prepare and analyze financial statements and tax schedules, • Respond to IRS and state tax notices, • Communicate directly with clients regarding tax strategies and compliance, • Partner with senior management on complex engagements Qualifications • 4–6+ years of public accounting tax experience, • Strong experience in individual, partnership, and corporate tax, • High-net-worth, financial services, real estate, and entrepreneur/founder exposure preferred, • CPA preferred, not required, • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, • Excellent written and verbal communication, • Experience with tax and accounting software a plus Compensation & Benefits • Base salary: $105,000 – $125,000, • No travel required, • Professional, pleasant work environment, • Direct access to firm leadership, • Long-term career growth in a boutique firm, • Work on NYC-level clients without NYC commuteCompany DescriptionWe are a small boutique tax and accounting firm that deals exclusively with high net worth, mostly international clientele.We are a small boutique tax and accounting firm that deals exclusively with high net worth, mostly international clientele.
