Job DescriptionSenior Payroll Specialist (Temp to Perm) Location: Northern NJ (Hybrid – 2 days in office, 3 remote) Compensation: $37.00 - $50.00 per hour LHH has an immediate need for a Senior Payroll Specialist to join our client’s team on a temp-to-perm basis. Position Highlights: * Temp-to-Perm: Typically transitions after 3–6 months * Salary (when perm): $80,000 – $100,000, commensurate with experience * Work Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:15 PM, 45-minute lunch * Hybrid Schedule: 2 days in office, 3 days remote (must be in office on either a Monday or Friday) Responsibilities: * Process payroll for approximately 2,000 non-union employees * Handle leave of absence (LOA) administration, special pay situations, and wage garnishments * Issue manual checks when required * Support payroll operations with ADP and SAP S4 Hana (SAP experience not required but a plus) * Assist with international payroll as needed Qualifications: * Proven experience managing payroll for large employee populations * Strong knowledge of LOA, garnishments, and special pays * Experience with ADP strongly preferred; SAP S4 Hana a plus * Ability to adapt quickly, learn new systems, and work flexibly in a changing environment * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ideal Candidate: Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings a flexible and adaptable mindset, and can ensure accurate payroll processing during a critical transition period.
