Job DescriptionThe Switch Truck Driver/Forklift Operator is responsible for moving tractor trailers to and from the loading docks and parking loaded or empty trailers in designated areas. Please note this is a dual role of majority forklift operator, with some yard jockey duties. All driving is expected to be completed safely in accordance with all Company policies and state/federal regulations. Responsible for fueling, moving and parking tractors and trailers to the docks and parking the loaded or empty trailers in the designated areas. Requires attention to safety and cautious driving in the facility parking lot. Will also be responsible for loading/unloading trucks in our warehouse, and tracking inventory using our scanning system, removing pallets from the production line using a fork lift, placing them in designated warehouse racks with no damage, and perform stocking for palletizers, according to standard procedures.
