Core Faculty Position in Residency Education at Albany Medical College Albany Medical College/Albany Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program – Albany, NY Compensation: $220,000.00 - $240,000.00 annually The Department of Family & Community Medicine at Albany Medical College is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join its faculty in an academic primary care practice, with a focus on resident and medical student education. The successful candidate will become part of an established community practice in beautiful upstate New York, based at Albany Family Medicine (Community Care Physicians). This position offers a wide range of clinical opportunities with privileges at both academic and community teaching hospitals. Clinical and Educational Expertise. Our current faculty’s clinical expertise includes areas such as ambulatory primary care, geriatrics, sports medicine, outpatient procedures, inpatient medicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine, newborn care, gender-affirming care, opioid use disorder treatment, women’s health (with or without obstetrics), abortion care, and point-of-care ultrasound. Job Description Position Summary: Provides administrative support to the Masters in Physician Assistant (PA) Studies Program and serves as a liaison between the program and clinical sites. Job Description Position Summary: Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track Principal Faculty position within our emergent Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program (ARC-PA site visit scheduled for January 2027). This 12-month position is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, engaged individual to help shape an innovative PA program and prepare aspiring PAs for transformative health careers to solve problems that change the world. The Principal Faculty member will be primarily responsible for teaching and assessment of various professional and clinical topics throughout the didactic and clinical curriculum. The individual will work closely with the Program Director and other faculty members to ensure that students achieve the required program learning outcomes and entry level PA professional competencies. The individual will also be actively involved with student advising, admissions, new student orientation, faculty meetings and committees, and accreditation.
