Key Responsibilities: Clinical & Outpatient Care: • Conduct patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations, • Diagnose, manage, and treat urologic conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians, • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging, • Perform in-office procedures (catheterizations, voiding trials, bladder instillations, wound care, etc.), • Round on admitted patients and update daily progress notes, • Assist with inpatient consults from the Emergency Department and hospital floors, • Assist urologists in the OR for procedures such as cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, TURP/TURBT, and robotic-assisted surgeries (if applicable), • Complete accurate and timely EMR documentation, i.e. Epic, • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care, • Support quality improvement initiatives and adherence to hospital policies Qualifications: Required: • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program, • Active NCCPA certification, • Active NY State PA license or eligibility, • BLS certification (ACLS may be required depending on service), • Prior experience in urology, surgical services, or inpatient hospital care, • OR assisting experience, • Fast-paced hospital setting with a mix of inpatient, outpatient, and procedural responsibilities The Hospital offers a competitive compensation package, including: • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, • Retirement plan with employer contribution, • Paid time off and CME allowance, • Malpractice insurance, • Tuition assistance and opportunities for professional development
