Logistics Lead \nSunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday \n6:30am-7:00pm \n$27.00 an hour \n \nJob Title: In Fab Logistics Shift Lead \nPosition Summary \nThe In?Fab Logistics Shift Lead is responsible for directing daily material?handling operations within the fab, with a primary focus on overseeing dock activity, coordinating material movement of non?heavyweight items, maintaining tracking accuracy, and ensuring shift?level performance. This role leads a team of Material Handlers and Dock Runners, ensuring all work complies with safety standards, customer Ways of Working (WoW), and operational KPIs. The Shift Lead plays a critical role in maintaining smooth material flow, ensuring traceability, and supporting production readiness. \nKey Responsibilities \n \n1. Shift Leadership & Team Coordination\n\n\t • Lead, coordinate, and support the shift team—including Material Handlers and Dock Runners.\n\t, • Assign daily tasks and adjust team workflow based on priorities, workload, and operational needs.\n\t, • Provide on?the?job training, coaching, and support to maintain high team performance and adherence to procedures.\n\n2. Operational Oversight\n\n\n\t, • Oversee execution of all shift activities to ensure production, inventory flow, and material movements stay on schedule.\n\t, • Monitor progress, remove obstacles, and escalate issues in real time to prevent delays.\n\t, • Ensure proper unloading/loading of non?heavyweight materials at the dock and accurate internal transportation within the fab.\n\n3. Quality, Accuracy & Compliance\n\n\n\t, • Verify material handling accuracy by reviewing Inventory Management Tracker updates, storage accuracy, serial tracking, and proper documentation.\n\t, • Support cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure corrective actions are completed.\n\t, • Confirm all materials are handled using approved methods and aligned with customer standards.\n\n4. Communication & Reporting\n\n\n\t, • Act as the primary shift?level liaison between In?Fab Logistics, management, warehouse, and other internal stakeholders.\n\t, • Communicate operational issues, risks, delays, or escalations promptly and professionally.\n\t, • Document shift updates, exceptions, action items, and handoff notes for the next team.\n\n5. Safety, Standards & Compliance\n\n\n\t, • Enforce all safety rules, contamination?control practices, and cleanroom protocols.\n\t, • Conduct safety checks and ensure immediate response to hazards or noncompliance.\n\t, • Material movement and tracking\n\t, • Inventory Tracker updates within 24 hours\n\t, • Serial number documentation\n\t, • Tool return inspections\n\t, • Storage location accuracy\n\t, • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or logistics coursework preferred.\n\t, • 2–4 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or in?fab logistics.\n\t, • Prior experience in a leadership, lead, or coordinator role preferred.\n\t, • Proficiency with Inventory Management Trackers or similar ERP systems.\n\t, • Strong verbal and written communication skills.\n\t, • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, high?tech logistics, or cleanroom operations.\n\t, • Strong understanding of contamination?control practices and tracking requirements.\n\t, • Experience guiding teams and providing constructive feedback.\n\t, • Competence with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for reporting and communication.\n\t Get a complete career fit with Kelly®.
