Greenwich Psychology Group is conducting a targeted search for an exceptional PhD-level psychologist to serve as Clinical Intake & Strategic Growth Director within our premium private-pay practice. This is a senior leadership role with direct responsibility for clinical alignment, engagement continuity, institutional outreach, and strategic development as the practice continues to grow. The individual in this role will serve as the clinical gateway to the organization and will shape the trajectory of the front end of care. This is not a conventional intake position. It is a high-ownership leadership mandate designed for a psychologist capable of integrating clinical authority with disciplined operational thinking. Schedule & Commitment Full-time | Monday–Friday | 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. EST These hours are fixed and aligned with peak demand from working professionals, executives, and families. As the sole clinical intake lead, your consistent presence ensures uninterrupted access and therapeutic continuity. Reliability during core hours is non-negotiable. The Role You will conduct structured, high-level 15-minute intake consultations with adults, couples, parents, and executives, rapidly synthesizing complex clinical presentations and translating them into confident, ethically grounded therapeutic recommendations. In each consultation, you will: • Clarify nuanced concerns that may not be fully articulated, • Assign therapists with strategic precision based on specialization, theoretical orientation, and interpersonal fit, • Articulate the structure and value of private-pay, out-of-network care with clarity and transparency, • Guide clients toward informed, well-considered engagement decisions consistent with APA ethical standards Administrative staff manage insurance verification, fee coordination, documentation, and scheduling, allowing you to focus exclusively on clinical discernment and strategic oversight. Engagement & Continuity Stewardship You will be directly responsible for supporting sustained engagement across the practice. This includes: • Monitoring engagement and retention patterns, • Identifying and analyzing termination trends, • Proactively reaching out to paused or concluded clients to ensure quality of care and explore appropriate continuity, • Refining therapist assignment strategy to strengthen long-term alignment, • Ensuring the front-end of care supports stable, sustainable growth This role requires comfort with accountability, data-informed reflection, and measurable outcomes. Leadership & Institutional Development As the practice grows, you will play a central role in ensuring that intake systems remain disciplined, scalable, and aligned with our standards of excellence. You will also actively represent the practice externally by: • Delivering presentations at corporations, professional services firms, and schools, • Cultivating executive-level and institutional referral relationships, • Translating outreach efforts into sustained referral partnerships, • Conducting monthly in-person meetings with corporate and institutional partners to maintain visibility, credibility, and referral strength Executive presence, intellectual authority, and professional polish are essential. Qualifications • PhD in Clinical, Counseling, I-O, Organizational, Health, or related psychology discipline, • Advanced clinical sophistication, • Demonstrated excellence in consultative dialogue, • Experience delivering professional presentations or leading institutional outreach, • Strong systems thinking and analytical rigor, • High emotional resilience and tolerance for accountability This role is best suited for individuals who thrive under responsibility and view performance standards as intrinsic, not external pressure. Compensation & Leadership Investment Total compensation: $120,000–$200,000 Compensation reflects the scope, ownership, and growth responsibility inherent in this role. Total earnings include base salary and performance-based incentives aligned with strategic contribution and expansion impact.
