Job Description Licensed Clinical Therapist Restoration Family Services (RFS) Job Title Licensed Clinical Therapist (LSCSW, LCMFT, LCPC, LPC, LMFT, LMSW) General Job Description Restoration Family Services (RFS) believes every child and family deserves dignity, respect, and the opportunity for healing. The Licensed Therapist supports this mission by providing clinical services to individuals, couples, families, and groups experiencing emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges. The therapist may collaborate with psychologists, psychiatrists, and other providers as clinically appropriate. Major Duties and Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Executive Director or Therapy Services Supervisor, the Licensed Therapist provides counseling and access services for assigned clients. Responsibilities include: Clinical Services • Conduct intake assessments, biopsychosocial histories, mental status exams, suicide and risk assessments, and other required documentation., • Provide accurate diagnoses using the current DSM., • Develop individualized treatment plans with clients; update plans every 90 days or following sentinel events., • Deliver individual, couple, family, and/or group therapy using a strengths-based, culturally humble approach., • Provide referrals to internal and external services as needed., • Coordinate care with outside providers to support continuity and progress., • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (HER)., • Progress notes completed within 48 hours, • Assessments completed within 72 hours, • Provide screening, brief treatment, education, engagement, and advocacy., • Support clients in navigating community resources and systems., • Maintain professional relationships with community partners and promote RFS services., • Represent the program through presentations, psychoeducational seminars, or community outreach. · Supervise and support practicum students and program-specific peer mentors. • Collaborate with the Program Director to identify opportunities to highlight staff clinical expertise., • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned based on qualifications and program needs., • Education & Licensure Requirements, • Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling., • A Kansas clinical license is required (LSCSW, LCMFT, LCPC, LPC, LMFT, and LMSW)., • Registered Play Therapist (RPT) preferred but not required., • Proficiency with DSM‑5‑TR diagnostic criteria., • Ability to use computers, Windows, and Microsoft Office applications., • Willingness to learn and use Electronic Health Records (EHR)., • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required., • Strong judgment, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills.
