Job Description Position Objectives The primary responsibility of the Perks Attendants is to provide the highest quality Food and Beverage service in a high volume, fast-paced environment. Perks Attendants must have a strong working knowledge on how to make specialty coffee beverages and food safety and sanitization standards Qualifications • Must be eighteen (18) or older, • Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays, • Preferred prior Barista experience, • Required; mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, • Required; effective oral and written communication skills in order to interact with all employee levels and guests within the hotel, • Required; Ability to multi task, prioritize and handle conflicting demands, • Required; Flexible with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing priorities and situations, • Required; Sold under pressure, professional and able to maintain composure in handing complaints and other feedback, • Required; Ability to meet deadlines without compromise

Job DescriptionDescription: Job title: Barista Work Location: Wichita, KS Division/Department: Food & Beverage Reports to: FB Manager/SB Manager Part Time / Full Time Tasks: The Barista is not only responsible for making and serving its customers with coffee products, but also educating them about premium teas and coffees. Other responsibilities include: • Welcoming and greeting customers and efficiently determining their needs and interest., • Explaining and educating the customers about the different coffee products by explaining and presenting machines, and also demonstrating the operation of brewing equipment., • Preparing and selling coffee products by closely following the prescribed preparation techniques and recipes for various coffee drinks like café, expresso, latte, espresso lingo and cappuccino., • Attracting new customers and generating additional revenue, characterizing new and expanded products and services. • Sanitizing or cleaning utensils, work areas and equipment., • Regularly checking the temperature of refrigerators, freezers or other heating equipment to make sure it functions properly., • Ordering, receiving and stocking retail products or stock supplies., • Setting up or restocking product displays., • Serving prepared food such as cakes, biscotti, muffins or bagels., • Listening to customer complaints and queries and addressing their concerns in an efficient yet friendly manner and reporting to the manager on duty without delay., • Maintaining a prompt and friendly customer service.
