Job Description Wellspring Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated and compassionate team. As a vital part of our medical staff, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care by assisting with exams, executing treatment plans for surgery, and educating clients on their pets' needs. Work Schedule: Full-time, 4/10 schedule (Monday–Saturday) Key Responsibilities: * Assist with exams and outpatient care while ensuring accurate medical records are maintained * Review and coordinate treatment plans with the veterinarian, responding to client inquiries * Manage the veterinarian’s orders to maintain an efficient workflow and provide the highest level of patient care * Provide client education, ensuring clear communication on treatment protocols and next steps What We Offer: * Compensation: $18.00–$20.00 per hour for each hour worked * Bonus: $2,000 bonus package, depending on licensure * Continuing Education: $500 CE allowance the first year, $1,000 annually thereafter Benefits: * Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (with HSA options) * Life Insurance and Disability * Employee Assistance Program * 401(k) options * Paid Time Off Minimum Qualifications: * 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting * Current Veterinary Technician License in Kansas * Proficiency in key skills, including: * Anesthesia (Induction/Intubation) * Anesthesia Monitoring * IVC placements * Venipuncture and IM/SQ injections * Obtaining accurate TPR and performing Nail Trims and Anal Gland Expression About Wellspring Animal Hospital: Wellspring Animal Hospital is a dedicated companion animal hospital committed to delivering outstanding veterinary care to our patients.
