About the Role: The Facilities Maintenance Manager provides enterprise-wide leadership for maintenance operations across retail stores, production facilities, and support locations. This role oversees Facilities Maintenance Managers, partners with cross-functional leadership teams, and ensures the consistent execution of preventive maintenance programs, infrastructure reliability initiatives, vendor management strategies, and capital planning efforts. This position plays a critical role in supporting business continuity, food safety compliance, asset performance, and operational efficiency across the organization. What You’ll Do: • Lead facilities maintenance operations across multiple banners, locations, and facility types, • Provide leadership, coaching, and development for Facilities Maintenance Managers and maintenance teams, • Oversee preventive and reactive maintenance programs to ensure operational reliability and compliance, • Support enterprise refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety, generator, and building systems performance, • Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, performance standards, and maintenance-related expenditures, • Partner with Construction, Operations, Procurement, Real Estate, Safety, Finance, and Central Kitchen leadership on infrastructure and maintenance initiatives, • Support capital planning, equipment lifecycle management, asset replacement strategies, and facility improvement projects, • Monitor maintenance performance metrics, service levels, compliance standards, and continuous improvement initiatives What We’re Looking For: • Extensive facilities maintenance leadership experience in multi-site retail, grocery, food production, or commercial environments, • Experience leading maintenance managers and multi-location maintenance teams, • Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC infrastructure, electrical systems, plumbing, fire and life safety systems, and building automation platforms, • Experience managing vendors, service contracts, preventive maintenance programs, and maintenance technology platforms, • Knowledge of building codes, OSHA requirements, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance practices, • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills, • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders Ideal Background: • Experience in grocery retail, food production, distribution, commercial facilities, or multi-site operations environments is highly valued., • Experience with ServiceChannel, Verisae, Corrigo, Bluebeam, or similar maintenance management platforms is preferred., • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience., • Regular travel between operating locations is required.
