A growing, multi-unit hospitality operator is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead day-to-day restaurant operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at team development, and is accountable for operational and financial performance. The General Manager is responsible for delivering a high-quality guest experience while managing labor, cost controls, compliance, and team performance. This position reports to senior operations leadership and plays a key role in executing operational strategy at the store level. • Base salary: $70,000–$75,000, plus 10% bonus potential, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • Paid time off starting at 15 days, • 401(k) with up to 4% employer match (after 90 days), • Pre-tax commuter benefits, • Life insurance (employer paid), • Optional pet insurance, • Employee dining and brand discounts, • Lead all daily restaurant operations, including opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures, • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food, service, and guest experience, • Manage and develop front-of-house and back-of-house teams through coaching, training, and mentoring, • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and retain team members, • Oversee labor deployment and scheduling within budget parameters, • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment, • Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, • Own financial performance, including P&L management, forecasting, inventory control, COGS, and cost management, • Execute sales-driving initiatives and operational strategies, • Partner with leadership on performance improvement and operational execution, • Minimum 2 years of General Manager experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment with comparable service style and volume, • Proven experience managing P&L, labor, inventory, forecasting, and food costs, • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, • Experience with POS systems (Toast, Clover, or similar), • Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, operationally rigorous environment, • NYC Food Handler Certification required (or ability to obtain quickly)
