Job Description Feldman, Kramer & Monaco is seeking a Medicaid Paralegal to join our firm. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced environment, organized and detail-oriented. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Preparing and submitting Medicaid applications for Institutional applications and Community-Based applications, • Maintaining cases and deadlines required by the Medicaid Agency, • Assisting clients to obtain documentation, • Communication with financial institutional to obtain documentation, • Two (2) years' experience in the preparation and filing of Institutional applications and Community-Based Home Care applications, • Knowledge of Income and Resource guidelines, Promissory Notes and Manage Long Term Care Agency procedures, • The ability to interact with families that pertain to Medicaid application process, • The ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to adhere to Medicaid deadlines, • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Time Matters, • Must be a team player, • Full Time role, • MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A MEDICAID COORDINATOR/SPECIALIST TO BE CONSIDERED, • NOTE: This position is a 35 hour work week.
