Senior Sales/Business Development - Payments (m/f/d) Barcelona | Vienna | Larnaca | EU Remote DaoPay is a licensed international payment service provider operating in over 70 countries. We work with e-commerce, digital platforms, and high-growth online businesses, delivering tailored payment solutions in a regulated global environment. We are looking for a commercially driven Senior Sales/Business Development professional with a strong track record in payments, acquiring, or fintech who knows how to open doors, close deals, and build lasting revenue. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants real ownership, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to help shape growth. For the right person, there is also scope to lead and develop a team of lead generation professionals. Employment possible in any of the above mentioned locations, freelancers are welcome. Your Responsibilities: • Own the full sales cycle from origination to closing, • Build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline of e-commerce and digital merchant opportunities, • Identify and win new business across target markets and verticals, • Structure, negotiate, and close commercial agreements in line with internal compliance and risk requirements, • Position and sell tailored payment solutions including acquiring setups, APMs, and alternative payment flows, • Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Product and Operations to ensure smooth onboarding and execution, • Build long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and strategic stakeholders, • Track market developments and identify new commercial opportunities, • Represent Daopay in client meetings, negotiations and industry events Your Profile: • 4+ years of proven success in Sales or Business Development within payments, acquiring, fintech, • Proven track record in closing and managing complex commercial deals and generating revenue, • Solid understanding of e-commerce, acquiring, alternative payment methods, and the wider payments ecosystem, • Experience working within or alongside regulated environments, • Highly self-driven, commercially sharp, and confident in owning targets, • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, • Ambitious mindset to build independently, not just to maintain and taking ownership of results, • Existing merchant relationships or a transferable portfolio would be a strong advantage, • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus What We Offer: • A commercially impactful role with direct impact on growth, • Uncapped commission structure, • Flexible setup: employment possible in Vienna, Barcelona or Larnaca, • Freelancers/contractors also welcome, • Flat hierarchies and efficient decision-making, • The chance to work across multiple markets with a stable and expanding fintech business Interested in building, winning and growing business in a global payments environment?
