We are a dynamic and expanding restaurant group located in the heart of Madrid, proudly owned and operated by a Japanese team. In August, we inaugurated our second location, initially mirroring the concept of our original establishment. However, since then, we've undergone a significant transformation in both our menu and overall concept. As we continue to evolve, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospitality Manager to lead our dining room team.

Position: Hospitality Manager
Location: Madrid, Spain
Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, train, and mentor the dining room staff, ensuring exceptional service standards and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Guest Relations: Engage with guests to ensure their dining experience is memorable, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
Operational Management: Oversee daily dining room operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, reservations, seating, and handling shift changes. Always ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
Cultural Integration: Collaborate closely with our Japanese ownership to understand and convey the nuances of Japanese culture and cuisine to both staff and guests.
Strategic Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and drive business growth.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in dining room or restaurant management.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential, as our location caters to a diverse, international clientele.
Cultural Sensitivity: A genuine interest in Japanese culture and cuisine; prior experience in Japanese dining establishments is a significant advantage.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead by example, motivate a team, and maintain high standards of service.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and guests.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a flexible approach to challenges.

Additional Information:
Relocation Support: We are open to considering candidates from other regions of Spain or Europe and are willing to assist with relocation logistics.
Work Environment: Our restaurant is situated in a vibrant tourist district of Madrid, offering a dynamic and diverse working environment.
Cultural Exchange: This role offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in Japanese culinary traditions while contributing to the growth of a forward-thinking restaurant group.
If you are passionate about hospitality, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a team that values excellence and cultural authenticity, we would love to hear from you.
Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your experience and interest in this position.
