Job Summary As an Ortho Regional Sales Manager RSM (Sports Medicine) for CONMED, you will be responsible for delivering regional sales performance, leading and developing a high-performing field team, and ensuring excellence in customer engagement and account execution. The role translates national strategy into local action, builds strong relationships with key stakeholders, and drives the achievement of sales targets and sustainable business growth across Madrid, Castilla y León and Castilla-La Mancha. Key Responsibilities • Lead and support the Orthopedics sales team across the region by setting clear goals, actively monitoring performance, and addressing development needs to ensure consistent success and achievement of sales targets., • Devise and execute an effective regional business plan, in conjunction with the Ortho Business Director Iberia, to drive sustainable growth within the region., • Contribute to national business reviews, forecasting, pipeline management and launch execution initiatives; coordinate local commercial initiatives and product launch activities., • Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to support business planning., • Monitor territory performance through CRM, dashboards, and business analytics., • Conduct regular field coaching visits to strengthen selling skills, account management, and customer engagement., • Work closely with Product Management and Marketing to develop strategies for increasing opportunities within the region., • Coordinate and execute pre-tender work for your region., • Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Service and other cross-functional teams., • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers., • Represent CONMED at key industry events, congresses and exhibitions, medical educational programs, providing technical demonstrations and deep insight into the CONMED Ortho portfolio, • Travel extensively throughout the region to support and coach the team and customers as necessary; be prepared to travel internationally on occasion., • Manage and track expenditures, financial goals and budgets assigned by the Ortho Business Director, • Work closely with the IBERIA HR team to drive effective people management strategies, ensuring effective practices in Recruitment and Onboarding, Development, Reward, Employee Relations and Performance Management., • Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and collaboration., • Adhere to and uphold all company policies and regulatory standards, including business conduct, corporate ethics, quality system compliance, and regulatory affairs. Proactively familiarise yourself with the specific policies and requirements relevant to your role, ensuring these standards are fully integrated into daily operations and long-term strategic planning. Consult with management or relevant departments as needed to guarantee full compliance with corporate policies and regulatory obligations. Education / Experience / Skill • High degree of capability in the field of Orthopedics., • University degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field., • Minimum 5–8 years of successful sales leadership experience within Orthopedics, Sports Medicine or Trauma., • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding commercial targets., • Strong knowledge of the Spanish healthcare environment, particularly within Madrid area., • Demonstrated experience leading, developing and coaching high-performing field-based commercial teams., • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills., • Strong business acumen, analytical and strategic skills - ability to translate data (market data, competitive intelligence) into concrete commercial plans., • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across medical, marketing, market access and commercial teams., • Good command of English
