Country Manager – Jamaica Multinational Leader in High-End Integrated Facilities for Hotel & Residential Projects We are looking for an International Delegate (Expat) to lead our operations in Jamaica. This position is intended for a Spanish professional available for international expatriation. The selected candidate will be responsible for directing and representing the local delegation, ensuring profitable business growth and the excellent execution of facilities projects and services—while complying with local regulations, safety, quality, deadlines, and financial targets, in alignment with headquarters' strategy. Key Information • Position: International Delegate, • Location: Jamaica, • Target profile: Spanish expatriate, • Contract Type: Permanent – International Expatriation, • International Package: Accommodation, living expenses, 3 annual return flights to Spain, health insurance, visa processing, company car, laptop, and mobile phone Main Responsibilities Local Strategy & Leadership • Define the annual delegation plan (commercial, operational, and financial goals), • Identify local market opportunities (sectors, clients, tenders, partners), • Propose and execute market entry strategy: services, niches, geographic expansion, and technical capabilities, • Align local decisions with corporate policies (branding, pricing, risk, compliance) Institutional Representation & Key Relationships • Act as operational representative with clients, suppliers, local authorities, and organizations, • Maintain relationships with strategic clients and influencers (engineering firms, property managers, main contractors), • Liaise with local bodies (municipalities, inspections, industry, security), • Manage critical situations: claims, contractual disputes, and operational crises Commercial Management & Business Development • Lead client acquisition and retention (pipeline, visits, proposals), • Oversee preparation of technical and economic bids: scope, measurements, deadlines, resources, margins, • Define local commercial policy: rates, payment terms, and opportunity selection (go/no-go) Financial & P&L Management • Responsible for delegation P&L: sales, margin, costs, and EBITDA, • Prepare and control budget, monthly forecast, and cash plan, • Control direct project costs (materials, subcontractors, labor hours) and indirect costs (structure, rent, fleet), • Ensure payment discipline: invoicing, certifications, collections, and overdue management Human Resources & Local Team Leadership • Size the local structure: project managers, technicians, site supervisors, admin, and after-sales, • Recruit, hire, and develop local talent, • Define roles, objectives, incentives, and performance evaluations, • Ensure healthy work environment, operational discipline, and a culture of safety and quality HSE, Quality & Environment • Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal HSE standards, • Supervise quality: inspection & test plans, QA/QC, documentation, and non-conformities, • Lead incident investigations and corrective action plans Legal, Contractual & Compliance • Supervise contracts with clients and subcontractors: scope, penalties, warranties, variations, • Ensure compliance with anti-corruption, data protection, and sanctions regulations, • Manage country risks: labor, immigration, security, currency, and insurance Reporting to Headquarters • Report periodically (weekly/monthly) to General Management: sales, project status, safety, finance, and risks, • Ensure documentary transparency and traceability of key decisions Requirements • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related technical field, • Minimum 6–8 years of experience, • Fluent English (C1 level), • Experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams, • Highly communicative, decisive, with strong organizational skills, • Leadership and client-oriented mindset (internal and external), • Spanish nationality or residence in Spain (expatriate position), • Availability for international expatriation to Jamaica Valuable Assets • University degree in Engineering or Chemical Sciences, • Postgraduate studies or specialization in production planning & management, process analysis, or industrial organization Conditions & Package • Permanent position in a solid, well-established company, • Competitive salary based on experience and proven value + performance-based bonus, • International package tailored for Spanish expatriates, • 3 annual round-trip flights to Spain covered by the company, • International health insurance + visa management, • Long-term professional development within the group
