Secret Food Tours, an award-winning international food tour company, is looking for outgoing individuals who are passionate about food, travel, and history to lead our foodie tours through Santiago de Compostela's charming city streets! Tours are conducted in English, though a good understanding of Spanish is expected. This role is a lot of fun and a perfect fit for those who love sharing stories, engaging with people, and showcasing the best local cuisine. Our guides lead small groups of guests through some of Santiago's best eateries while sharing fascinating history and culture along the way. It's an ideal opportunity for performers, teachers, historians, students, or anyone with a genuine passion for food and storytelling. Our Ideal Candidate Guiding permit issued by Xunta de Galicia. This is a must as we can´t hire any guides without this permit. Fluency in English, as our tours are conducted in English for guests from all over the world. This is a self-employed position. In-depth knowledge of Galician culture, as well as the local food scene. A genuine passion for food and drinks. Enjoy engaging with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Organized, reliable, and well-presented. Details Pay: 70€ per 3-hour tour, plus tips (which are often very generous!) + bonuses based on performance Schedule: Tours run daily in the mornings. Availability: Must be available to work Monday through Sunday, with flexible scheduling depending on bookings. Additional private or group tours may be available.
