European International School of Barcelona is looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary English Teacher to join our Primary team. EISB is surrounded by the 8.465 hectare Collserola Natural Park, on a 14.000m2 plot with 10.503m2 of constructed spaces for classrooms, laboratories, dining rooms, a library, auditorium, a gymnasium, two swimming pools and a fully-equipped kitchen. Responsibilities: • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to students., • Develop and implement curriculum in line with school standards and educational best practices., • Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback., • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning., • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school administration to support students development and school initiatives., • Bachelor's degree in Primary Education., • Ideally two years of previous experience in similar positions., • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively., • English home language., • Spanish & Catalan language is desirable., • A valid work permit to work in Spain., • Ability to use technology effectively in the classroom., • Committed, multicultural, cohesive and highly consolidated team, • Full time job., • Permanent position., • Competitive salary and benefits (e.g. exceptional food cooked by our own chefs, benefits for teachers' children, possibility to use the sports facilities and swimming pool as well as the school bus)., • Located in one of the best residential areas of Sant Cugat del Vallès, it is very well connected by public transport.

Duties will also include monitoring and assessing individual progress, maintaining effective communication with parents and colleagues, and participating in training and developmental activities. Qualifications • Strong experience in Lesson Planning and Teaching for young learners, • Proficiency in Education and Training practices, particularly for early childhood development, • Excellent Communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively, • Ability to manage a classroom and create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment, • A recognized degree in Education or Early Childhood Studies, with relevant teaching credentials, • Proficiency in Spanish and Catalan, English knowledge is an advantage, • A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting every child’s growth and development
