Position: Product Assurance Engineer – Space Location: Headquarters in Torrejon, Madrid (Spain). The role is within our Space division. Responsibilities Define, maintain, and continuously improve company PA/QA procedures to ensure quality, reliability, and safety of products. Act as a PA expert for space thermo‑structural and mechanisms, defining PA flow‑work to meet or exceed quality space standards and customer expectations. Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with product development and manufacturing processes. Implement measures to monitor and control quality of space products during manufacturing and assembly, including developing quality control plans, performing inspections and tests, and addressing non‑conformities or defects. Maintain accurate records of quality‑related activities, including test results, inspection reports, and corrective actions, and provide regular reports to management. Lead continuous improvement initiatives for product quality, reliability, and efficiency, analyzing quality data and implementing initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma or Total Quality Management. Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction levels. Provide training and guidance to the PA/QA team. Requirements University degree and/or PhD in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics. More than 15 years of experience as a PA expert in aerospace‑related companies. More than 5 years working as a PA/QA expert in aerospace thermo‑structure or mechanical products. Demonstrable experience in space product manufacturing. Experience defining and managing PA/QA procedures and policies. Knowledge of space policies and standards. Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Experience leading teams. Proficiency in English. Spanish language skills are a plus. Open‑minded and prepared to work in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary, multinational environment.
