I am looking for a manager to run the day-to-day operations of a local café/restaurant. This Café is an established bar with many clients and an excellent reputation. The ownership of this bar is passing to me and as such, I need a manager to help me run it. This will be a top to bottom change, Everything from the menu to the staff to the decor. I am an American living in Spain, And while my Spanish is quite good, I require that the person whom I hire for this role has advanced levels of English. By advanced, I mean, nearly fluent. Everything from the interview that you will have with me to the day today operations will be conducted entirely in English. The person I hire will of course speak Spanish to the staff, distributors, etc., but with me it will be entirely in English. You need to be extremely well organized, Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Ability to produce forecasts, productivity models and product costing. You will be in charge of the hiring and firing of employees, disciplinary actions, time and attendance, negotiating with distributors and food providers, cash management, customer Service and event planning. We use the web platform Haddock for product costing and recipe profitability. This is a full-time position. The position pays 1.900,00 per month, 1.500 + 400€ contingent on goals being met each month. In addition, you will be guaranteed at least one weekend off per month. this job requires someone who is quick on their feet, a problem-solver, a team member and a leader. You must have experience in the sector and you must provide references.
