Job Title: Marketing Content Executive – IBERIA (Madrid Based) – Global Asset Manager Location: Madrid About the role The Content Manager – Italy & Iberia supports the planning, development, localisation, adaptation and delivery of high-quality, commercially relevant and compliant content across Italy, Spain and Portugal. The role works closely with market-facing Marketing Managers, local business stakeholders, the Central Content function and relevant Centres of Expertise to ensure content activity supports client engagement, intermediary marketing priorities and selected market activation needs. This is a hands-on content planning and coordination role. It helps translate local and regional commercial priorities into clear content outputs, briefs, adaptations and activation support, while ensuring consistency with the firms’ brand, regulatory requirements and the broader Europe Marketing operating model. The team Europe Marketing operates a market-led model aligned to local commercial priorities, audience needs and growth opportunities. Market-facing Marketing Managers own local market priorities and activation, while content roles support the planning, development, localisation, adaptation and governance of relevant marketing content. The Content Manager – Italy & Iberia works with Marketing Managers, local stakeholders, the Central Content function and Centres of Expertise to deliver content outputs against agreed market, campaign and content priorities. The role also supports coordination with PR & Communications colleagues, the European PR Manager and relevant agency partners where local content, event, campaign or messaging input is required. What you’ll do You will support the planning, development, adaptation and delivery of marketing content for Italy, Spain and Portugal. Working with Marketing Managers, local stakeholders and the Central Content function, you will help ensure that content is audience-focused, commercially relevant, compliant and suitable for activation across priority channels. You will coordinate content inputs, localisation requirements, approval processes, publication timelines and performance feedback, while contributing to consistent and scalable content delivery across Italy and Iberia. Key responsibilities A. Content Planning & Market Alignment • Support content planning for Italy, Spain and Portugal in line with local market priorities and Europe Marketing plans., • Work closely with Marketing Managers to understand commercial priorities, audience needs and activation requirements., • Translate market, campaign, product and client themes into practical content requirements and deliverables., • Maintain a clear view of content priorities, deadlines and dependencies across Italy and Iberia., • Work closely with the Central Content function to align market content requirements with broader editorial priorities, messaging frameworks and reusable content assets. B. Content Development, Localisation & Delivery • Coordinate the development, adaptation and localisation of content across campaigns, events, email, web, social media, PR, media and partner marketing channels., • Ensure content is clear, accurate, audience-appropriate, commercially relevant and aligned with brand and regulatory standards., • Manage content inputs, version control, approvals and publication timelines in collaboration with relevant stakeholders., • Support the reuse and amplification of content across channels to improve efficiency and impact., • Work with the Central Content function and relevant Centres of Expertise to ensure content quality, consistency and scalability. C. PR, Media and External Visibility Support • Coordinate with the European PR Manager, PR & Communications colleagues and relevant agency partners where content input, messaging alignment, local adaptation or amplification support is required., • Support PR-relevant content deliverables such as thought leadership adaptation, messaging input, local market proof points, media-facing materials or external visibility content, where appropriate., • Ensure PR and media-related content remains aligned with the firms’ brand, regulatory standards and agreed market priorities., • Provide content contribution and coordination to support local PR, media and external visibility activity. D. Client, Distributor & Partner Content Support • Support content needs for distributors, private banks, advisory networks and other intermediary partners across Italy, Spain and Portugal., • Work with Marketing Managers, Client Group, Sales and Client Services to understand client requirements and content opportunities., • Prepare, adapt or coordinate marketing materials for client meetings, partner activity, events and follow-up communications where required., • Use market feedback and performance insight to help improve content relevance and effectiveness. E. Stakeholder & Centre of Expertise Collaboration • Build effective working relationships with Marketing Managers, Client Group, Sales, Client Services, Country Management and relevant Centres of Expertise., • Coordinate content requirements with Content, Digital, Events, Social Media, PR, Brand and Marketing Operations teams., • Communicate priorities, requirements, timelines and trade-offs clearly and professionally., • Help ensure local content delivery is joined up, efficient and aligned with the wider Europe Marketing operating model. F. Governance, Quality & Measurement • Support content governance, ensuring materials follow approval processes, brand standards and regulatory requirements., • Maintain accurate records of content versions, approvals and usage where required., • Monitor content performance and capture feedback to support continuous improvement., • Contribute to more consistent, scalable and effective content delivery across Italy and Iberia. Knowledge, experience and qualifications Required • Experience in marketing, content, communications or campaign delivery, ideally within asset management, financial services or another regulated B2B environment., • Strong writing, editing, content coordination and localisation skills., • Ability to adapt content for different audiences, channels and markets., • Good understanding of intermediary marketing and client-facing marketing activity., • Experience working with internal stakeholders, specialist teams and external partners., • Strong stakeholder management, organisational and project coordination skills., • Ability to manage deadlines, approvals and multiple priorities with attention to detail., • Experience working with content governance, approvals and brand/regulatory standards., • Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish. Preferred • Italian language skills would be advantageous, particularly where the role supports Italy content requirements., • Portuguese language skills would be helpful., • Experience working with intermediary audiences in Italy, Spain or Portugal., • Knowledge of local distribution and partner marketing environments., • Experience supporting PR, media or external visibility content., • Experience with digital, email, web, social media or event-related content delivery., • Experience working in a matrix organisation and with Centres of Expertise.
