SUPO, where required) /li /ul h3Why This Role Matters /h3 pAs a Satellite RF, Systems Software Senior Production Technician, you play a vital role in ensuring that ICEYE satellite testing meets aerospace quality standards. You will perform automated verification procedures for functional, payload, and bus tests to validate performance at the subsystem and system levels, conduct operational simulations to verify operational readiness, and oversee final activities, ensure configuration control, and support launch campaigns. /p h3Your Day-to-day Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage schedule priorities and execute work tasks to meet production timelines. /li liIndependently perform a variety of tasks according to detailed work instructions and established procedures. /li liOperate mechanical and electrical ground support equipment to ensure smooth test operations. /li liCommunicate proactively with team members and supervisors regarding any challenges or obstacles. /li liTroubleshoot basic technical issues and implement corrective actions under guidance. /li liAssist in training and mentoring junior technicians. /li liMaintain accurate records and documentation of work performed, including documenting results in Jira and creating NCRs when necessary. /li liAssist in managing activities related to satellite launch campaigns. /li liActively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team, focusing on procedures, processes, tools, and 6S. /li liWork closely with other production teams, ensuring clear communication so that satellite build-phase deadlines and technical specifications are met. /li /ul h3Qualifications (Must Haves) /h3 ul liRelevant university degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Space Studies, Applied Physics, or similar, or equivalent experience in a related role. /li li2+ years of hands‑on experience setting up and running tests and experiments. /li liExcellent communication skills, with particular attention to detail in procedures, preparation, and execution. /li liExperience using lab equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes. /li liAble to work proficiently in a Linux environment. /li liAbility to perform tests on satellite systems using Python or Shell scripts for routine tasks. /li liAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and schematics. /li liProficient in English, both written and spoken, to ensure clear communication in a cross‑functional environment. /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liExperience using Atlassian Cloud (Jira, Confluence) /li liAbility to improve and/or write test scripts in Python /li liSpace background /li liKnowledge of satellite systems /li liSkills in electronics, mechanics, and embedded systems /li liLean Six Sigma experience /li /ul h3Application Process /h3 ul liTalent Acquisition Interview /li liHiring Manager General Interview /li liTechnical Interview, including a Technical Challenge /li liFinal Interview /li /ul h3Working at ICEYE /h3 pAt ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
