    Location: Barcelona - Port Forum (Onshore) About Seaesta: Seaesta is a nautical charter business in Barcelona operating under Lista 6ª regulations. We provide high-quality nautical experiences and are looking for a reliable Base Assistant for our daily dock operations at Port Forum. Key Responsibilities: Providing the customer with full assistance (Check-in + Check-out): a) Customer Welcome: Greeting clients at the dock and providing a professional introduction to their charter day. b) Documentation & Legal: Managing the signing of rental contracts, verifying IDs/nautical licenses, and ensuring all paperwork complies with Spanish maritime regulations. c) Safety Briefing: Explaining safety equipment and basic boat operation (for license-free boats under 5m). d) Payments: (if needed) managing payments of the customers. e) Performing detailed inspections of the vessels before and after each rental (hull, engine hours, propeller, and equipment) f) Ensuring the boats are clean and ready for the next client Compensation & Availability a) Format: This is a per-service / on-call professional collaboration. b) Workload: Approximately 1-4 hours per day, strictly based on our charter booking schedule. c) Payment: Fixed professional fee of €12.50 per intervention (complete cycle of Check-in + Check-out). The estimated time per boat is 30 minutes total. Payment is guaranteed for every service performed upon presentation of invoice. d) Flexibility: Ideal for professionals seeking a side activity already based near Port Forum with high flexibility during the nautical season. Requirements: a) Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English is mandatory. Other languages (French or German) are a plus. b) Professionalism: High attention to detail and strong communication skills. c) Reliability: Punctuality and ability to work independently during the season. d) Legal: Must have a valid work permit for Spain and be registered as Autónomo. e) Nautical Knowledge: Previous experience in the nautical sector or basic knowledge of boat handling/mechanics is preferred.
